(Honda Branded lawnmowers cannot take this types of universal lawnmower dethatcher blade as the Honda blade center requires a special bevel stamped shape, it will fit all other brands of mower with a Honda engine)

The twin spring system allows for more extensive raking of the thatch, it will remove far more debris than other systems. This 16 inch blade is probably the best size to use on all larger deck walk behind mowers (16" to 22") as the action is etremely hard on the mowers engine)

These blades are simple to fit to your lawnmower. (please follow the instructions supplied with the packaging )

In simple terms : remove your existing lawnmower blade., fit the dethatching blade the correct way up (with the spring tine ends pointing towards the grass)

Fit the spacer washer which is the correct diameter for your blade bolt, fit the retaining heavy washer below your blade to secure it, tighten the blade and you are ready to work.
