However, there is no need to worry, we have put together a quick step guide to ensure your mower stays healthy and in top condition for the rest of the season.
1. Inspect those belts

4. Deck cleaning
Doing a a quick clean of your deck shell will prevent a block of airflow, therefore it wont pull up the cut grass. Additionally, not cleaning your deck will help to retain moisture and this can lead to a build up of rust on your deck.

5. Blade sharpening
For a lot of people they sharpen the blades at the beginning of the mowing season then don’t look at them again. This is bad. It puts stress on your belt, your spindles and your motor. White streaks in your lawn are an indication that your blades are breaking the grass rather than cutting the grass, which is unhealthy for your lawn.
